SENNHEISER / MICROPHONE

e614

The e614 supercardioid microphone is of the electret type (electrostatic with pre-polarization). It has been designed for demanding applications requiring an extended frequency response, a rapid response on transients, small dimensions and involving high sound pressure levels. Thanks to its frequency response ranging from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, the e 614 is able to transcribe the full sound fullness of the instrument. Its supercardioid directivity curve isolates the microphone from other sounds on stage.
Excellent on percussion, the e614 is also an ideal choice for woodwinds and strings. Its excellent acoustic properties also make it a valuable tool in home studios.
